I have one and it works perfectly. My Wii is probably a good 5 meters away from my pc and its runs so well. The software you get with it, allows you to add devices, so no one can access the net unless you approve them in the software its great. I think there is a new one that gives faster speeds i'm not 100%

some do. mine did once i got new software, the nintendo software sux
it keeps cutting out and not recognising the connection

but you can get ASUS software that works and lets you connect a ps3 or any other wireless device to it

they work really well if u use with wii plug into usb port in the back of the wii (must have a broadband wireles network for this)i kept plugin in pc wouldnt work so i tried to use wired and i found usb ports so i plugged wi-fi in there and it upgraded (20 min wait) and it ran a test "you are now connected to wii24";) hope that hepled

Sorry guys, I'm a little confused by the discription.. I would have thought this could be used in place of a wireless router. You plug into your PC and that allows the wii (or DS) to use whatever internet connection your PC is using. But based on the discription and some of the comments that's not the case?

You can't. It's built only for use in your PC or laptop to connect with the Wii or DS ONLY. You need a PCMCIA WiFi Card or WiFi USB dongle to connect to a regular wireless network.

windows firewall is usually a default thing so u might actaully have that on
